HLTAID009 - Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
Introduction:
Equip yourself to handle life-threatening emergencies through our interactive Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training. This hands-on course provides essential knowledge and skills to maintain circulation in adults, children or infants in cardiac arrest to dramatically increase survival rates. In addition to practising CPR and using a defibrillator, delve into the legal aspects of CPR and familiarise and practice applying the basic life support action plan.

Target Audience:
Ideal for those seeking to acquire or refresh their CPR skills, as well as renew their accreditation. This course follows national standards that can be applied to all workers and community members alike. There are no age limitations to this course.
Learning Outcomes:
- On successful completion of this course, students will receive the nationally recognised statement of attainment for HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation
Learning Methods:
Demonstration of practical skills, participation in role-plays, analysis of case studies and a theory assessment.
Please note it is a requirement of this course that practical demonstration of CPR must be performed on the adult manikin on the floor.
Technology requirements: Participants will need to bring their own smart device to complete their assessment.
