HLTAID007R – Provide Advanced Resuscitation Refresher
Introduction:
For people who have completed an Advanced Resuscitation course within the last three years, wishing to refresh their skills in the provision of advanced first aid resuscitation techniques and life support. Learn about the management of casualties, the incident and other first aiders; covering a range of situations, including in the home, workplace or within the community.
Develop skills and knowledge required to use specialised equipment in the provision of resuscitation, in line with Australian Resuscitation Council guidelines.

Target Audience:
Workers, who may be required to use specialised equipment to provide resuscitation in a range of complex situations, include community and workplace settings.
Specific licensing requirements relating to this competency, including requirements for refresher training, should be obtained from the relevant state/territory Work Health and Safety Regulatory Authority.

Learning Outcomes:
- On successful completion of this course, students will receive a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment for HLTAID007 Provide Advanced Resuscitation.
Learning Methods:
Demonstration of practical skills, participation in role-plays, analysis of case studies and a theory assessment.
