HLTAID011 - Provide First Aid One Day  

Introduction:


First aid qualified in one day, no online learning.

Explore a variety of first aid scenarios, training in first aid responses and giving life support until medical assistance arrives. Gain insights into managing casualties, and incidents and working with other first aiders.

Understand legal considerations and first aid techniques for a range of illnesses and injuries in home, workplace or community settings.

Note:  Includes CPR (HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation).

Duration: 1-day face-to-face classroom session (no pre-learning required).

Target Audience:

Perfect for workplace first aid training and essential for individuals administering first aid in different settings, be it at home, in the community or at work.

Learning Outcomes:

  • On successful completion of this course, students will be issued with a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment
  • Units of Competency: HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation, HLTAID010 Provide basic emergency life support, HLTAID011 Provide first aid

Learning Methods:

Demonstration of practical skills‚ participation in role-plays‚ analysis of case studies and a theory assessment completed on your device.

Please note it is a requirement of this course that practical demonstration of CPR must be performed on the adult manikin on the floor.
