EleFA – Elementary First Aid (8-11 years old)

This course is specially designed to give children, aged 8 to 11 years old, an elementary knowledge of first aid and the confidence to perform basic first aid in an emergency.

This is a flexible first aid program using fundamental Basic Life Support principles.  Relevant topics can be covered according to your situational needs and requirements.  For example, CPR, bleeding, envenomation, asthma and anaphylaxis.

Target Audience:

Suitable for children aged 8-11 years old.

Learning Outcomes:

  • This is a non-accredited first aid course
  • Students will be introduced to first aid concepts
  • Students will have the opportunity to practice some basic first aid skills

Learning Methods:

A combination of practical skills, participation in role-plays and interaction with a first aid trainer. This is a non-assessable, non-accredited course. There are no formal assessments as part of this course.
