22578VIC – Course in First Aid Management of Anaphylaxis

Gain skills and confidence to recognise anaphylaxis signs and symptoms‚ and provide an emergency first aid response to manage a severe life-threatening allergic reaction.
 
This anaphylaxis management course is based on Australian Resuscitation Council guidelines, and Australian Society of Clinical Immunology and Allergy action plans and advice.

Target Audience:

Suitable for members of the community‚ including parents, teachers, childcare workers, aged care workers, disability workers, youth workers and allied health professionals.

Learning Outcomes:

Students will be assessed through the demonstration of practical skills‚ participation in role plays, analysis of case studies, and with a written test.
