Introduction:

A refresher course for people who have previously completed an Occupational First Aid Course within the last three years.

Refresh your workplace first aid training and learn advanced skills to carry out emergency first aid for injuries and illnesses in the workplace. The course updates information on state and federal legislations as it applies to first aid in the workplace.

Target Audience:

Endorsed by industry as appropriate for people who are employed in‚ or intending to become employed in, nominated occupational first aider roles.

Learning Outcomes:

  • On successful completion of this workplace first aid course, students will be issued with a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment.

Learning Methods:

Demonstration of practical skills‚ participation in role-plays, analysis of case studies, assessment activities and a quiz.

Please note it is a requirement of this course that practical demonstration of CPR must be performed on the adult manikin on the floor.
